Dubai CrossFit Championship Summer 2019 Press Release


The 2019 CrossFit Games are upon us, and yet, with the changes to the competitive landscape there is much to already start getting excited about for next season.

Here are 5 important details you’ll want to keep track of during the Games and in the coming months leading up to the 2019 Dubai CrossFit Championship Finals this December:

  1. DCC is Sponsoring one event at the 2019 CrossFit Games with a direct invite to the 2019 DCC on the line.
  2. The OPEN will serve as the qualifier for the DCC this season.
  3. There is $76,000 in prize money available for the online qualifiers this year.
  4. The DCC will be having a raffle give away for 10 random winners (5 men and 5 women) to receive an all expenses paid trip for two to Dubai.
  5. The “Fittest in Dubai” documentary is scheduled for a fall 2019 release date.

  1. DCC is Sponsoring one event at the 2019 CrossFit Games

    DCC will sponsor a workout on August, 3rd, at the 2019 CrossFit Games. The winner of this event at the Games will automatically receive a direct invite to the 2019 DCC Finals in December.

  2. The OPEN will serve as the qualifier for the DCC this season.

    3. How do I qualify to the 2019 Dubai CrossFit Championship?
    • To earn a spot to the DCC finals all athletes must register here
    • Athletes must enter their scores and videos from the OPEN to the Dubai CrossFit Championship leaderboard.

    How do I qualify for the 2020 CrossFit Games?
    • The first place finisher in the DCC elite individual male, the DCC elite individual female, and the team division will each earn an invite to compete at the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games.

  3. There is $76,000 in prize money available for the online qualifiers this year.

    4. To be eligible for any of the available prize money the following steps must be completed:

    • Register for the DCC Online Qualifier
    • Complete all workouts in the CrossFit Open
    • Enter scores weekly on our platforms
    • Upload video weekly to the DCC platform

  4. The DCC will be having a raffle give away for 10 random winners (5 men and 5 women) to receive an all expenses paid trip for two to Dubai

    The Take Me To Dubai Raffle will provide ten lucky winners, five men and five women who were outside of the top 30 spots in the final, with a chance to win an all expenses paid trip for two (flights, hotel, pocket money, and VIP tickets) to the DCC Finals in December of 2019. To be eligible you must successfully register for and submit all workouts/videos.

    The 2019 Dubai CrossFit Championship is a four day sanctioned competition which will be taking place in Dubai from December 11-14, 2019. Events will be hosted at three iconic venues in the United Arab Emirates with the goal of bringing together individual and team athletes from around the world to compete in the spirit of fitness. The Take Me To Dubai Raffle gives you a chance to be a part of this unique, spectacular event.
