As the DCC continues to evolve, we strive to offer a premier CrossFit competition for athletes from around the world. In doing so, we recognize the financial strain on competitors and structure our competition, from online qualifier to the on-site finals, with that in mind.
This year our rosters will include 30 women and 30 men in the Individual division, and 10 teams for the Finals in December. All athletes who compete in the Finals will receive compensation; including the opportunity to receive additional cash payouts for a top 3 event finish.
The DCC Online Qualifier this year is in conjunction with the worldwide CrossFit Open, however, once again, we will continue to offer payouts for the Online Qualifier. Although the workouts for the two online competitions will be the same, they remain separate and distinct. This year the DCC Online Qualifier payouts are for places 1-30 for both individual men and women, and places 1-10 for teams. To claim cash prizes from the qualifiers, athletes must be in Dubai and compete in the Finals. Details about payouts can be found in the charts at the end of this article.
Through the support of our sponsors, we have also secured discounts for travel and accommodations to help you get to Dubai. Athletes affiliated with the DCC can receive a 10% discount when booking through Emirates Airline.
